Getting There MockUp ver.2

Been laying out the whole of the flash files, into a working flash site, (fixing the links to jump to the another page and such and such). The loading is still a fake loading, :P

Transition ver.1

Please note this isnt the final transition, while retrieving my corrupted files for my flash files, i spent less time on animating this transition, on what i have planned before.
The green building graphics, i wanted to be popping out on different time, at the moment what i have set up is just put mask in one simple shape, in order to make the variations of that i have to make a very complex masking shape that will change shape in different (possibly many layers of animation) but this is the current version

the links from page to page, arent working properly becuse i moved from root to another layer, will fix it soon

Desgin Grids for Layout

Recently i just "gridding" up my this flash site, means i corrected the alignment and make the layout is stay constant in everypage, with some guide line helps in flash, and some minor changes to the placement of the text, a fixed grid for designing the layout has been made.

Flash is Being Funny

Recently i have problems with my .fla flash files, it cant be open!my last 2 weeks of works are gone to dusts!Well the swf files still working, but its a mock up, sure i need to do some refining and changes to that, tried some flash decompiler software, but didnt work really well cause it wipe off my library files,

Well all i can say thanks flash for crashing my files

Another Preloader

Slight change to the preloader (again!:P), refine some of the alignment and more contrasty colour to the some of the elements, uploaded from deviantArt, check it out !

ps: by the way my old flash files have some issues couldnt be open, it might change a bit of the animation (such as the timing and such) cause i had to re do them again, blame adobe for saving fla files into less than 3kb

Logo Change

You know i picked the green one from the 3 logo concepts (DUH!!), just made a small shuttle changes on the logo from the original,

New Gallery Page

Had an idea for the alternative gallery thumbnails page, to have small grids of thumbnails just below the title, but when it is mouse over, it will scale up, you will know once i upload the flash version of it, sorry gotta rush, but this is only the layout that i manage to upload for now, cheers

Mock Up

Ready or not the mock up is READY!, all i need to do is adding up changes to this mock up and adding the content for the website, im assuming the final version will slight change from this mock up, this only showing page per page.

Gallery Page

In Multimedia i have explored range of design skills including, HTML design, Vector Artwork, 3D/2D Animation, Flash Game, Flash Interactive, AfterEffects, Video, and Photoshop. In order to show the artwork in the gallery, thumbnails is one of the solution for my flas web, showing small grid (cropped area of the artwork) and enlarge when it is clicked. Here it is the layout for the Gallery Page

The white tiles are only representation of the artwork will be layout later, currently its only prototype showing how it gonna be layed out

Content Background

Just adding a new colour scheme into my design, the previous one was an opaque green bar, in my opinion this dark colour for the content background suits on the design as well, it contrast the content thats lighter colour

Navigation Design

After discussing with my lecturer and researching some of the contemporary navigation designs, i have come up with several options of navigation that can be used in my design. The first navigation that i have put up (the concept one), seems like does not suit with the whole style of the website.

And these are my solutions for the better navigational design, due to small font (in general) of the whole design, smaller navigations are more appropriate for my design. Based on the research small navigations still are obvious and clickable, as long is making contrast from the background.

The Decision

From the last week concepts that i have made, it came down that the 2nd concept is the strongest from the 3 concepts. From now on i will start developing that concept, making it into flash and etc. This design is not final yet, there will be a minor changes and fixes.
For this current version the background for the content and the navigation are nearly satisfactory (in my opinion).

Home Page

This could be the index page of the flash website, since in flash site there is no index page(like html), but similar concept as the html index concept, from the pre-loader page that i have developed before, these are the further development of each concept







These are only mock ups, i will selected 1 out of these 3 to be final concept

Preloading flash

Soon these concepts will be take on to the flash development, these days flash preloading animation one of the essentials or almost "a must" in a flash website, due the site could take several seconds or even minutes to load on, a little animation could make the audience stay or rather knew that the site is working.
If the site gonna load for several seconds and audience has no indication that the site is actually loading, it will like the site not working at all

Logo Compilation

These are several of my own work, creating a logo for my own (not exist yet) desgin company, that is called "Chaser Design" there are 3 concepts with different themes. These logos will be developed more into a working flash/html website, (based on the logo). Some of the page prototype has been made.
